Twice a year the Architectural Façade + Product research group meets abroad to discuss and develop the research topics and Ph.D. projects of the members.
On invitation of Professor Anne Beim / Professor, Head of Center for Industrialized Architecture CIARK at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts / Schools of Architecture, Design, and Conservation the November meeting was held in Copenhagen. And to make it more interesting, Prof Linda Hildebrand and her team from the chair Cycle Oriented Construction at the Faculty of Architecture / RWTH Aachen (Germany) joined the session as well.
Knowing each other very well and understanding the different positions, the level of the interaction and talks is quite impressive – scientific methodologies, project outlines, and expected outcomes are reflected deeply – not a lot events, you reach this. Prof Tillman Klein´s quote defines it to the point: “We came home richer!“
