Powered by the network of the 4 technical universities of Darmstadt, Delft Dresden and Dortmund this event was showing a condensed snapshot of the current technical development and the future opportunities to us the material glass at it´s best.
And it was a pleasure to be responsible at TU Darmstadt to redevelop and organize the GTL, the central exhibition at the world leading glass trade fair in Düsseldorf: About 100 projects, new technologies, and experimental glass constructions were shown, experts, designers, and engineers shared the knowledge and discussed the results of the competition, to beat gravity and to develop transparency.
