„Towards Occupant Centered Automated Facades: Interaction Requirements to Enhance Acceptance of Automated Control Strategies“
This dissertation, defended early June 2026 by Pedro de la Barra Luegmayer, investigates how interaction strategies shape occupant responses to automated façades in office buildings, contributing to reducing the gap between predicted and actual performance. It concludes that effective automated façade control strategies must integrate clear access and low-effort personal control, understandable communication, and context-sensitive level of automation.
