Got an idea for the future of façades? OpenFace Day 2026 offers a unique opportunity to bring it to an international audience. Taking place on 24 June 2026 as a hybrid event – both onsite at TU Delft and online – the event invites learners, innovators, researchers, and designers to share forward-thinking concepts with the global façade community.
Whether your focus is on circular materials, adaptive systems, digital tools, or performance-driven design, the emphasis is on bold ideas rather than finished products. OpenFace Day is a platform for exploration, exchange, and inspiration at the forefront of façade innovation.
From all submissions, 15 projects will be selected to present a concise three-minute pitch during the event. Participants are free to choose their preferred presentation format, whether slides, posters, or physical prototypes. A Best Pitch Award will be presented as a highlight of the day.
