An idea to work on an innovative, simple solution to support table plate. Alamir Mohsen with a group of students worked on a parametric solution that considered the load conditions that will be subjected to the table. Then work on the topology optimization of the nodes, according to the final load case. The complexity of the generated geometry made the decision to use 3D printing to realize the nodes more convenient. Using wooden bars and cables in combination with the nodes to form the slick design. A video of the story will be published soon.
