///Future Facade 2027 – Save the date: 26 & 27 May 2027
After a successful first edition in 2025, Future Facade returns to the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The international event platform brings together the European facade community: architects, engineers, consultants, facade builders, contractors and developers.
Who is behind it: Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs organises the event in collaboration with the TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and the Building Envelope Alliance. That mix of industry and academia is what makes the program relevant to both – practice and research.
Three phases, one facade: the 2027 program follows the life of a facade:
- Imagine: facades shaping cities and identity, and circular facades and the next life of buildings
- Making: from regulation to realisation, and industrialised, scalable and buildable solutions
- Performance: the facade as an integrated system for comfort, energy and technology
Facade knowledge only creates impact when it moves between disciplines. Future Facade is where design, engineering and manufacturing meet in person, and where the questions of our community become visible: circularity, industrialisation and system performance.
