As a general lab for AM within the institute, this facility is used to generate first geometric prototypes for AM projects, illustrate models for teaching and produce special parts for experimental setups.

Another focus is the investigation of the printability of new materials like wood and paper.

Key equipment:

  • 2 single material FDM-Printers
  • 2 multi-material FDM-Printers
  • 1 SLA-Printer
