As part of the material chair WIB at TU Darmstadt the material lab is doing research in the field of performance of additive manufactured materials and components. Key fields are mineral binders and multiscale modelling, light weight and bio-inspired materials and the aspects of energy storage in construction (www.nrg-storage.eu).
