///Water conservation cladding made form a stone sludge composite
Ainsley Vella, B.A hons Product Design, MCAST, Malta. The cladding was designed to utilize stone sludge waste, which is generated in marble factories and discarded in landfills with no further use. Using the recycled material in combination with cement and fiber strands, a light-weight stone cladding system was developed as a rain-water façade collector. In return, the collected rainwater can be stored for further use in the building it clads.
