Quite an event! The BE-AM Symposium and Exhibition at Formnext 2025 delivered a comprehensive overview of the latest advances in Additive Manufacturing for architecture and construction. Sixteen international experts from academia and industry presented cutting-edge research, large-scale printing strategies and real-world applications. Topics ranged from material innovation and digital design workflows to robotic fabrication and structural performance.
The accompanying exhibition showcased 3D-printed building components, prototypes and furniture across a wide variety of materials. Visitors experienced how digital fabrication is moving from experimentation toward scalable production. The event clearly demonstrated that Additive Manufacturing is becoming an integral tool for more efficient, customized and sustainable construction.
