The Generative Design Lab explores additive and generative manufacturing technologies for the built environment focusing on process and product development. Research areas include 3D printing of glass, steel, ceramics, plastics and paper. The lab produces customized nodes for façade systems, free-form bricks for functionalized masonry, 3D paper structures as acoustic absorbers and complex but completely transparent glass structures.
