The main goal of the workshop was to motivate a critical discussion about the role of façades during the operation phase of buildings, and the need to consider users’ preferences and behavior as relevant inputs for their design. The workshop was structured around the evaluation of real office buildings from TU Delft campus, focusing on three key aspects to discuss the role of the building façade and the assessment of existing possibilities for user interaction: comfort, automation, and adaptability over time.
