With the leading role that building physics started to have for achieving sustainable building designs, the section Climate Design at TU Delft was inaugurated from a cooperation between the chairs Buildings Physics, Building Services and Climate Design + Sustainability. The section is part of the department ‘Architectural Engineering and Technology’. It plays a leading role in connecting science and practice for the design and development of comfortable and healthy (indoor) climates in and around buildings.
The section’s main focus is to educate students in the fields of Climate Design and improve their understanding of building physics’ fundamental knowledge.
