The idea behind this project was to create a self-supporting, mobile shower cabin by producing an envelope with shaped foil strips attached to different air chambers.
The banana-shaped chambers are attached to each other on the outer perimeter of the construction. Since the inflated chambers push toward the outside, the outer skin is under tension which increases the overall strength of the construction.
