Inserting a rollable structure into an airtight bag enhances the kinetic behaviour.
The cardboard used in this project is rolled in under vacuum and rolled out when inflated.
The phenomenon determines that any structure under vacuum morphs into its smallest dimension and shape. This technique can be used for packaging and covering, as well as for structural use due to the high stiffness of the evacuated core.
