///Visit to the Galsfachschule Hadamar and the Glass Museum in Hadamar with the ZIM Network NextGlass
As part of the ZIM Network NextGlass, we recently had the opportunity to visit the Glass School in Hadermar and the Glass Museum in Hadamar. The visit combined historical insights in glass art with hands-on experiences and created a vivid picture of how traditional craftsmanship and modern façade applications can be brought together.
A highlight of the program was the practical workshop in glassmaking, where participants were able to experience the art of shaping and working with glass themselves. This direct encounter with the material not only provided new appreciation for the skill of glass artisans but also opened up fresh perspectives for innovative façade design.
The collaboration within the NextGlass network once again showed its strength: connecting education, research, and industry in order to explore the future of glass in architecture.
