Prof Dr. Clemens Hübler and Prof Dr. Michael Kraus gave their inaugural lectures at TU Darmstadt / Civil and Environmental Engineering on February 5, 2025. But first, our former colleague Prof Dr. Jens Schneider – now President of TU Vienna – introduced his thoughts on the need of technical universities: „Why Technical Universities are needed – the 7T“.
Clemens Hübler followed with his introducing speech „How digitalization and AI can help us get a grip on ageing infrastructure“. The session was closed with Michael Kraus’ speech: „Structural design paradigms – why the structural design servant is a visionary by tradition“.
