When thinking about building with paper, fire is always an issue! So we made an experiment, used a common paper construction and rebuilt it as a house – to test its fire behaviour.
Under the supervision of Jerzy Latka, guest researcher at ISMD / TU Darmstadt, supported by Rebecca Bach, Martin Wilfinger and the BAMP team at TU Darmstadt, students of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology built a small house, which was professionally set under fire to see how long it would withstand – see the video!
