Point holders with customized features for non-uniform, free-form, doubly curved glass façades can be manufactured by Direct Metal Fabrication (DMF). Each point holder can have slightly different dimensions and angles and provide perfect fitting. The parts are functionally integrated, meaning a part made out of less components bears less chances for failure. A hybrid, individualized technology is possible by combining standard body parts with printed-on advanced parts.
